The HDLD suggest you a needle lace workshop with Brigitte Dépalle, trained at the Atelier National d'Alençon and graduated from the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris.
Passionate about textiles and more particularly lace, with bobbins as well as needle, Brigitte Dépalle is also founder of the Ateliers de la Bruyère de Saugues and textile artist. She wrote the book "lace with a needle" at Créer.
Brigitte collaborated with us on the monumental lace we made for Mona Cara and the Biennale d'Art Contemporain de Lyon. It is today, with the Ateliers de la Bruyère, an important partner of the HDLD and we are very happy to welcome her for this internship that we have tested. It’s a hell of an exercise to switch from knots to needles!
Beginners welcome. It is not necessary to be experienced in the zones.
May 30 to June 1, 2025 at HDLD.
